Lil Wayne has had a long life so far he has been faced with many hardships and the newest is a federal gun charge that he recieved in Arizona. Lil Wayne has never been maried. Lil Wayne started his music career at the age of 11 when the in house producer Mannie Fresh had asked him to team up with B.G. to make a dubbed duo THE B.G.'Z and although B.G.'s name was only on the cover of their cd entitled True Story and was expected to have a follow up album Chopper City but when Lil' Wayne had accedently shot himself it had turned into a solo album. When he was part of HOT BOYZ that consisted of B.G., Juvinile, and Young Turk. The group had made there first scd GET IT HOW YOU LIVE. Lil' Wayne has had many succesful albums sience his debut with the HOT BOYZ when he went solo under the label CASH MONEY his first few songs that he was featured on were Back That Thang Up by Juvinile. Sience then he had released his first solo album THE BLOCK IS HOT, and that album had gone double platinum. Following the succes of that album he had released LIGHTS OUT in 2000 but that album didnt have the same succes that his previous album had but still went gold. Then his next project was to perform #1 Stunna with Big Tymers. Shortly after he was back in the studio working on the album that was released as an underground mixtape titled DA DROUGHT. After DA DROUGHT hit the ears of his fans in 2002 he began getting much attention from the hip hop industry. Then in his breakthrough effort he released THA CARTER in 2004 with Mannie as his producer, and long time friend. Then in 2005 he had released two mixtapes called DEDICATION and THA SUFFIX. After those mixtapes he had gotten back into the studio to record his album THA CARTER 2 in 2005 which sold a quarter of a million copies in the first week and had his hit songs "FIREMAN" and "SHOOTER." Then a year after he colaborated with Birdman to make the record LIKE FATHER LIKE SON with the hit song "STUNTIN' LIKE MY DADDY." Soon after that he flooded the underground mixtape world with DEDICATION 2 which had the most controversial song yet entitled "GEOGIA.......BUSH" talking about how Bush had responded to the Huricane Katrina. Then after that he had taken time off to collaborate with Fat Joe on the hit song "Make It Rain," then with Chris Brown on the song "Gimme That," then with Playaz Circle for the song "Duffle Bag Boy." Then after Lil' Wayne had missed his release date for THA CARTER 3 he had postponed it for another year so that he could write all new songs for the fresh new album. Then in 2008 when THA CARTER 3 finally hit stores in May with the hit song "LOLLIPOP" and selling more than a million coppies the first week. Sience the release of THA CARTER 3 he has signed Kevin Rudolf to Cash Money records and had featured on Kevin's hit song "LET IT ROCK."
