The crowd had no mercy and booed him off of the stage. Carrey's bomb of a performance prepared him for next time. When he was seventeen, he returned to the comic stage and delivered a great show. The audiances there loved his impressions, but he wanted to move on. He didn't want to be a impressionist anymore. He Wanted to be himself, not act like other people. Next Carrey moved to Las Vegas even though he did not want to. He took acting classes there and won a role in the NBC Comedy Program, The Duck Factory. Jim Carrey, what a talented guy! I liked how he took that talent and made it his career. He went through some tough times with his dad loosing his job, but he and his family percivered through all of there hardships. Carrey didn't give up when he was booed off of the stage when he was fifteen, he kept going. I like how he views life. One of his quotes was, " My focus is to forget the pain of life.
