During his life he worked on a farm and then after high school, he attended University of Iowa in 1997. His dream job was to be bichemical engineer and also worked for General Mills Factory. His life wasnt always easy, in 1991 his parents divorsed and at the same time his brother Michael had so trips to the emergency room for heart transplants. Michael is now healthy and thankful to have his brother, " Ashton is always by my side." quoted by Michael. Plans changed very quickly when he got a contract to modeling for Abercrombie & Fitch and other fashion runways such as for Calvin Klien.
