In this time in Poland nobody knows what is hip-hop. When you would go to shop and ask about hip-hop sailor would gives you Michael Jackson record. Piotr Luszcz start interesting hip-hop when he was thirteen years old. Magik and his friends had only one source of information about rap. Magik’s father bought satellite television. Piotr and his friends were meeting in his home and watch a American rap stars. It was inspiration for them. But later their style was very different than American style. First he was trying to create experimental bands like young rappers( and another with kitschy name). They made song on the old compiuter Amiga500. Only band with his friend from school- Dab and Joka were longer time. Name of this band was Kaliber44. Inspiration for this name was from romantic poetry of Adam Mickiewicz (national bard). It was romantic vision of the unit and connect material world with nonmaterial world. When he get invited to army and went to talk with psychologist he get category E what means he cannot be in army because he had psychiatric disorders (in one his song he sing I have one * schizophrenia, psychical disorders….) Another his song + or- We can interpret He was scared He get HIV virus, or it can be interpret like ratio of internal elements of psyche and soma (Latin soul and body). After he end electronic school He was trying find a job. But he is not suited to the rigors; he could not be subordinate to any rules. He was the individual unit. Music was his life He devoted music. He is sitting on the balcony with cigarette and headphones on his ears and he is writing new song. But if he met some misfortune, He experienced them many times more than the normal man. The song "Plus and minus signs is proof of this (see the plus and minus). He sees, however, that there is no way out, because neither God nor the doctor can not cure his patient, tender personality. In september 1996 Kaliber 44 relased album "Ksiega Tajemnicza prolog" (ang. Secret Book prolog). In this time It was not competition on Polish hip-hop market( one hip-hop record in this time). Album get gold status and two nomination to prestige music award(dance music and alternative music). Style of kaliber 44 was psycho-rap.

Rahim learn from Magik about music. Later to Rahim and Magik joined Fokus. Fokus was going with Piotr Luszcz to the same school. When They were child, they were trying singing and create rhymes. Fokus all time wanted rhyme about marijuna, but Rahim didn't want promote drugs in this song. He didn't want, kids listening this music start taking drugs. Fokus was very young and all time learn from Magik.

They together created band "Paktofonika". After two years hard work Paktofonika record album- "Kinematografia"(ang: "Cinematography"). It was 12.18.2000. After Christmas Shops sell 3000 copies. Album were selling in suprising pace.
Each member has in this album has own song. Magik- "Jestem Bogiem"(ang: "I'm the god")- In this song he sings about you must belived in yourself. Rahim- "ja to ja" (ang:"I was I") and Fokus- " Rob co chcesz"(ang: "you can do whatever you want"). In the song "Nowiny" Magik sing about his membership in Kaliber 44. He criticizes his old freinds. In this song we can try find real exuses, why they solve band but this track is full of allusions and methapors. In song- "Chwile ulotne" He rhymes- "We have 20 years, ahead of us is whole world, ahead us long life way" . Now we know he doesn't say true.
At 6.15 at the morning 26th december 2000 on the second day of christmas he jumped from his flat's window on nineth floor. He died half hour later.
Nobody know why he did it. His album balls popularity record. Piotr start has good relationship with her wife again. He has young son- Filip.
The most popular hipothesis is, marijuana merged with schizophrenia have caused he commited suicide. He was only 22 years old.
Rahim and Fokus didn't know what they should do. They want finish their carrier. Their mentor died. Finally they solved a band. Rahim and Fokus relased last album- "Archiwum Kinematografi" (ang:"Archive of Cinematography"). This album contains all the songs that they recorded but not posted on the previous album. Paktofonika was offically dissolved 21st march 2003, after a concert in Katowice.

Magik was first Polish raper. He open this market. All rapers in Poland go his way now. Before and after him it was not better raper. His skills, how he was playing word and rhymes arouse enthusiasm to this day. When boys from Kaliber 44 went to music studio and start sing, nobody know what it is. Many rapers try imitate his style. In the Polish university, in the Polish language class, teacher showed his student Magik's songs like example of great poetry and rhymes.
