Career Overview
Krazyie bone and his group released their first album in 1994 called “Creepin' On Ah Come Up” where they came out in the music business with a completely different, unique and new style at that time which made them very famous and they sold lots of copies. As a group, they were extremely successful. They won a lot of awards. For example, they received the Grammy award with their single “The Crossroads.” After the success that they had with their first album, they released another album called “Art of War” in 1997 which wasn’t as successful as their first album. In 1995, Bone Thugs released another album called “Eternal” with their hit single “1st of the Month,” which at that time, Krazyie Bone and his group where in the top charts. After almost a decade of work in the music industry they released another two albums before the group started having serious problems; the BTNHResurrecction which was released in 2000, where in that year, one of the members of the group Flash-n-bone went in jail for eleven years because he was guilty for assaulting with a firearm. After that Bizzy Bone, another member of the Bone Thugs n’ Harmony left the group because of some misunderstanding that he had with his group members and the label company. In 2002, Bone Thugs released the album called “Thug World Order,” where Flesh-n-Bone and Bizzy Bone were not part of the group at that time. The album was very successful; they also collaborated with Phil Collins in one of the songs in the album, which was a hit. After this time, Bone Thugs released another three albums (Thug Stories, Strength & Loyalty and T.H.U.G.S) and a movie called “I Tried” where again the other two members didn’t play in it. The Bone Thugs from that time until 2009 when Flash n Bone was released from prison, Bone Thugs members and Bizzy Bone released some solo albums and mix tapes. But when the Flash n Bone was released from prison everything changed for Bone Thugs; a new chapter began for them, also Bizzy Bone rejoined the group and they where once again together after almost a decade. Now, they are working hard to release their new album called “UNI - 5”, where they still are singing in their unique style that is stunning the world.
Global influence
Bone Thugs - n – Harmony started doing rap music officially since the early 90’s with a unique style that shocked the world. Their style was very different at that time, special, original and unique that impressed everyone even the most famous rappers at that time the legends of rap music such as Eazy-E , 2pac and The Notorious B.I.G. Their lyrics, flow and beats are indescribable you could only feel them when you listen their music and when you try to understand what they are trying to say, the message that they are trying to give to the audience . They are known also as the most famous group who could rap in a really high-speed, but except their high-speed flow they also do at the same time a slow melodic and harmony that is very peaceful. They also try to express their feelings and opinions about the reality in wich we are living, especially Krayzie Bone.
Personal influence
I started listening to rap music since I was very young. I felt that old school rap music it makes me feel very comfortable because a lot of times you can find yourself in their lyrics. The biggest influence that rap music had in my life, especially Bone Thugs – n – Harmony is that my friend and I started a rap group and we recorded some songs in my country. We saved some money and we made our own small studio and we did pretty well in the beginning; we sang in some clubs and some small concerts, but then because of some reasons the group split up. Nowadays it’s also very hard to find good rap music like it was before, because now all the new musicians are using different kind of effects in their songs, such as Lil Wayne and lots of other musicians. However, Bone Thugs – n – Harmony have always stayed loyal to their style since the day they started.
